Going to the movie theaters has always been a huge part of my life. Whether going with family, friends, or just on my own, it was something I did regularly and enjoyed. However, it has been over two years since the last time I stepped inside a theater thanks to the pandemic.

Another limited series from DC Comics with stellar art and an elseworld story that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

It’s not often that I read a Josei series—not for lack of wanting to—it’s just most series that I think might be Josei turn out to be Seinen instead. Demographics aside, when I saw the cover to Changes of Heart and read the official summary, I felt like this was one series I wanted to check out since it sparked my interest.

I probably can’t convey in words just how excited I was to read this series after so long, but I’m certainly going to try. I added it to my local comic store pull list as soon as it was announced and even double dipped digitally to have it on my kindle app to read first thing in the morning on release date. Like I said I was EXCITED.

I'm a big fan of Aliens, the 1986 movie by James Cameron with Sigourney Weaver, so when I saw a comic called Alien that just started this year I thought, why not try it out. Nothing can be as bad as that horrible Prometheus movie right?
